Palmer Pro Monicon Passive Monitor Controller

The passive mini desk with the large-format controller is inserted between the stereo output of a notebook, PC or interface and an active listening, allowing for convenient and precise level adjustment of the monitors from the workplace. The passive circuit with just a few components does not change the sound in any way. Mute and mono buttons allow mute of the outputs and merge the stereo output signal into a monosum.

The inputs and outputs of the controller are equipped with XLR connectors and the computer-standard 3.5 mm stereo jack sockets, Combo input jacks also allow connection via 6.3 mm jack plug. This makes the Palmer Monicon suitable for both professional and consumer devices. Real wood sides make the practical studio tool in the solid powder-coated sheet steel housing a visually elegant and palm-typical “little helper”.

Palmer Pro Monicon L Passive Monitor Controller

The Palmer Monicon L is a precise analogue volume control that connects between computer or audio interface and active monitor speakers. The circuit is completely passive and discolouration-free, the LED indicators and the built-in headphone amplifier are powered by the included power supply.

Balanced combo sockets serve as a stereo input, the Monicon L AUX input has RCA sockets and a 3.5mm stereo jack. The compact desk provides outputs for two pairs of monitors and a monosum output via XLR sockets. The stereo or AUX input can alternatively, the two outputs can be selected individually and together. In addition to the large-format volume control, the Monicon L is equipped with mono, mute and PL switches, a 6.35 mm headphone jack, as well as separate AUX and headphone controls for comfortable operation.
